Ava Leporati sores her first goal of the season in a battle against No. 18 Haverford.
The 16-5 final moves the Pride to 1-1 in the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lynch opened the game on defense with a caused turnover. The attacking side would see shots from Alyssa Ruggiero and Gianna Scaliti that wouldn't fall. With 7:28 left in the first, the Fords took a 4-0 lead before Leporati won the preceding draw. Jarliah Ferko picked up her first goal of the season and put the Pride on the board with 6:41 left. A scoreless final five minutes of the first would see shots from both sides with a score of 5-1 Fords.
- Reagan Gober snagged a caused turnover to give Warlow a ground ball to open the second. A hot streaked Fords offense found two more goals before Mantz gave the Pride a goal with 9:16 left in the second. The Pride would call a strategic timeout with 6:39 left. The final minutes of play showed Warlow crediting three saves to herself to end the half down 9-2.
- With 30 minutes to play, Ruggiero won the draw to give Mantz her second goal of the day to open the third. Avery Farina took shots while Warlow continued to rack up saves. A scoreless remainder of the third for the Pride would end the period down 13-3.
- Warlow opened the fourth with a save before Krohn and Scaliti's shots fell just off. Following two Ford's goals, Kasey Thornton won the draw that would end up picking up two Ford's cards. Leporati's free position goal showed her first of the season on an up possession. Warlow gave the Pride offense possession off an unforced Fords turnover to give Ruggiero the final goal of the game to end with a 16-5 final.

Widener heads to Bethlehem, Pa. for take on the 1-2 (0-0 Landmark) Moravian Hounds. Game time is scheduled for noon on Saturday, February 28.
