COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. & NEW YORK, N.Y. – Mile record highlights a trip to New York before a winter storm rolls in for 
Gabby Nye of Women's Track and Field.
 
FRANK COLDEN INVITATIONAL
 
The women's mile would show finishes from Meredith Schreoder, 
Erin O'Brien, and 
Sarah Paulin. Schroeder led the pack with a 5:44.99, O'Brien clocked a 5:50.85 and Paulin ran in a 5:55.72, all new personal bests.
 
Sydni Bell advanced to finals in the 60-meter hurdles with a 10.06 prelims time. Bell's final time placed her fourth overall with a 9.88.
 
In the pole vault, 
Amanda Simpson vaulted to a 2.45-meter height.
 
Adeline Kraics threw a 9.70-meter in the shot put which would be good for a conference standard. 
Jayden McCracken's 9.07-meter marked a new personal best.
 
Isabel Rodriguez saw a personal best 15.11-meter throw in the weight throw to earn a regional standard. 
 
BIG APPLE INVITATIONAL
 
Mariam Koita's 60-meter dash showed a 7.89 in the finals. In prelims, Koita led with a 7.82. 
Maria Muzzarelli finished close behind with a 7.86 and 
Alyssa Kolimaga finished with an 8.60. All made regional standards.
 
Koita and Muzzarelli returned in the 200-meter dash as Koita clocked a 25.18 to take second. Muzzarelli took sixth with a 25.68. Both would make regional standards and 
Zahara Simmons would see a conference cut with a 27.50.
 
Gabby Nye took first overall in the mile with a 4:58.98 to sneak under the five-minute mark, seeing a new best. Nye's 4:58.98 would down her own Widener record set almost a year ago. 
Loralei Golembiewski and 
Kathryn Long would also see bests with their 5:17.13 and 5:17.70.
 
Kayla Robinson hurdled to a 9.47 time which marked a new personal best and a new regional cut. Robinson returned to competition in the long jump with a 5.35-meter distance. In the triple jump she would jump to an 11.99-meter mark for first overall.
