COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. & NEW YORK, N.Y. – A slew mark new personal bests in a split afternoon at the Ursinus Frank Colden Invitational.
FRANK COLDEN INVITATIONAL
Erastus Ndirangu would advance to the finals in the 60-meter dash with a final time of 7.13 and a prelims time of 7.16.
Derek Rudd's 400-meter would show a 53.19 final time.
In the 800-meter run
David Johnson took second overall with a 2:01.21.
The men's mile featured
Tom Flear who would lead
Joe Nescio,
Zach Rementer, and
Michael Carolan. Flear clocked in a 4:30.00. Nescio ran a 4:30.47 while Rementer finished with a 4:37.64. Carolan marked a new personal best 4:41.50.
Gavin Kelly would be the sole Pride runner in the 3000-meter run as he finished with a 9:05.25 and a new personal best.
Aidan Wilson's 4.10-meter pole vault and
Brennan Pringle's 3.95-meter vault would both mark new personal bests.
Isaac Almoney took first in the weight throw with a 17.19-meter distance for a new best and regional standard. Almoney would lead
John Kodack who threw a 14.86-meter throw.
BIG APPLE INVITATIONAL
Matayo McGraw and
Jacob Grossman would compete in the high jump and triple jump at the Big Apple Invite. McGraw's high jump showed a 1.85-meter jump and his long jump showed a 6.30-meter distance. Grossman jumped to a 1.75-meter distance in the high jump and a 6.24-meter jump in the long jump.
