CHESTER, Pa. - Widener Men's Track and Field competed a plethora at the Widener Final Qualifier.
In the 100-meter prelims,
Mikeal Palmieri clocked an 11.70. Palmieri's day continued in the 200-meter where he ran a 22.64 while
Tyler Ressler sprinted to a 23.68.
Xavier Nesbeth's 400-meter showed a 50.04 and
Tristen Silverstein displayed a 53.62.
The 800-meter resulted in
James Plunkett with a 2:05.54 and
Auden Fitz with a 2:05.83.
Ashton Ray clocked a 4:19.47 in the 1500-meter.
Silverstein opened the meeting in the 110-meter hurdles where he raced to a 17.35 final.
In the field,
Matayo McGraw won the high jump with a mark of 2.06-meters to qualify for nationals. McGraw's triple jump resulted in 15.00-meters
Aiden Wilson vaulted and cleared 4.11-meters in the pole vault.
Jacob Grossman would jump in the long jump for mark of 6.73-meters.
The shot put showed
Ashton Brown marking a 12.75-meter distance while
John Kodack's hammer throw threw a 51.57-meter distance.
A 53.34-meter mark from
Alex Stempin took third in the javelin.
