Men’s Swimming Rank Second in Pre-Championship Coaches’ Poll

Pride receive 84 points and two first place votes

YORK, Pa. – Widener Men's Swimming will head into postseason championships ranked second behind Stevens.
 
This year's MAC Championships are set for Feb. 13-16 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pa. Preliminaries will begin at 9:30 a.m. each morning.
 
On the men's side of the conference, Stevens was picked first with 98 total points and nine first place votes. Widener falls 12 points behind the Ducks and received two first place votes. York followed with 83 points.
 
The Pride ended their dual meet season with a perfect 10-0 record with big wins over non-conference opponents Ursinus and Washington College. The Pride also saw a first-place finish at the Cougar Splash Invitational with 499.5 team points.
 
Last season the Pride finished second with 1117 total team points, 300 behind Stevens.
