The Pride improve to 12-7 and 5-3 in conference play.

Widener came out with intensity, setting the tone early with Mia Robbins knocking down the first bucket of the game. The Pride's defensive pressure was relentless, as Kimberly Casiello and Lindsay Kutz forced multiple turnovers that led to transition points. Mary McFillin orchestrated the offense, finding Kutz for a fast-break layup and Riley Stackhouse for a three-pointer to extend the lead. Widener's defensive effort was the difference early, racking up six first-quarter steals and limiting Stevenson's opportunities. By the end of the period, the Pride held an 18-12 advantage.

Stevenson attempted to slow the pace in the second quarter, but Giada Palmeri provided a major spark off the bench, grabbing offensive rebounds and converting a putback layup. Widener's ball movement remained sharp, as McFillin connected with Stackhouse for another three and found Robbins for a strong finish inside. Defensively, Kutz and Casiello continued to disrupt Stevenson's offense, forcing rushed shots and turnovers. A 7-2 Widener run in the final minutes of the half pushed the lead to 39-27 at the break.

Stevenson made adjustments in the third quarter, cutting the lead to single digits with an early run, but Robbins and Casiello quickly responded with key buckets to stop the momentum shift. The Mustangs continued to battle, but Kutz came up with two huge steals, swinging the energy back in Widener's favor. McFillin kept the offense moving, setting up Palmeri and Robbins for back-to-back baskets to ensure the Pride stayed ahead. While Stevenson made another push, Widener held firm and entered the fourth quarter with a 47-43 lead.

Determined to close out the game, Robbins took over in the final period, scoring inside and converting a free throw to keep Stevenson at bay. On the defensive end, Palmeri delivered a massive block, stopping a potential Stevenson layup and maintaining Widener's momentum. McFillin and Casiello controlled the pace in the closing minutes, ensuring the Pride took smart shots and protected the ball. With under a minute to go, Kutz sealed the victory with a fast-break layup, and Widener secured a 67-58 win to continue their strong conference play.
