Kori Segich's all-around plays aid in a 28-point differential against PSU-Abington in the home and season opener.
The 96-58 win opens the season 1-0 for the Pride.

- Jacob Aryee led in points with 24 to shoot 9-of-15 from the floor and 6-of-9 from three.
- Segich snags 11 rebounds and 17 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kane struck first with a quick steal and a fastbreak layup. Aryee followed suit to jump the Pride to a 4-0 lead early. The first triple of the game came at 18:32 by Aryee with a Segich dish. Jay-Nelly Reyes saw his first points at 17:48 to start an 11-2 run. A quick portion of the half showed allowing the Nittany Lions to inch back to an 18-15 game with just over half to go. A triple from Aryee after a Myles Bright rebound extended the lead back to six while a Segich rebound and layup started a mini run. Jayden Lawrence saw his first triple of the season at 7:54 to make the lead jump to double digits. The Pride would hover the score around 10 points lead at the under four media timeout. A late triple from Aryee sent the Pride into half leading 43-35.
- A slow second half start for the Pride allowed the Nittany Lions to inch back as fouls began to fly. Segich put the Pride on the board in the second with a triple at 16:45 off an Ethan Dodson kickout. Segich put in a pretty layup with Bryson following suit. A 9-0 run put the lead to 17 points with 12:24 to play. Dodson hit a layup off a Matt Johnson pass to surpass 60 points. Triples continued to rain for Aryee with another at 10:24. Bright saw some points at 8:05 with a layup and again at 6:56 with another. Bryson pushed the score above 80 while Segich made the differential the largest of the night with a layup at 4:04. Connor Schumacher saw his first collegiate points with a jumper in the paint with 1:35 left to help seal a 96-68 win.
