CORTLAND, N.Y. – Top marks from Robinson and Holt complied the 2024 AARTFC Championships for Widener Women's Track and Field before NCAA Championships.
DAY 1 | WEDNESDAY, May 15
The Pride would open the day in the 4x100-meter relay with the quad of
Maria Muzzarelli,
Jayla Gore,
Kelly Barr, and
Kayla Robinson. The four would clock in a fourth-place finish and a 47.98. Their time puts them second on the Widener All-Time Top 10 list.
In the first round of the 100-meter dash,
Mariam Koita would lead Muzzarelli in a close five-six finish. Koita clocked in a 12.35 while Muzzarelli finished close behind in a 12.38. Both would qualify for the final round on Thursday. Gore would finish 18
th with a 12.91. Koita marked a new personal best and would climb one spot in the all-time rankings to fourth.
Savannah Steger placed ninth with a 3.43-meter final height. Steger's 3.43 would come in as a new personal best to end her collegiate career.
In the heptathlon,
Theresa Kervick and
Kayla Robinson would put in results for the first portion of the competition.

DAY 2 | THURSDAY, May 16
Kelly Barr opened day two competition in the 400-meter dash where she ran a 57.46 to take 10
th overall.
In the final of the 100-meter dash, Muzzarelli took fifth in a 12.30 while Koita came 0.10 behind in a 12.40.
Donna Holt's 800-meter run would place second. Holt clocked in a 2:15.15.
Elise Daniel took to the track in the 400-meter hurdles. Overall she would place 10
th with a 1:06.38.
Koita wrapped up the Pride's competition in the 200-meter dash as she went on to take sixth with a 25.33.
In the second day of heptathlon competition, Robinson would finish first overall with a final point total of 4502, winning by nearly 500 points. Kervick finished third with 4063 total points.

Widener will await the final qualification list for the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships held from Thursday to Saturday, May 23 to 25. This year's championships are set to be hosted in Myrtle Beach, S.C. by Coastal Carolina University.
