Tong's single would advance McCarthy to third, and Abby Blake's single RBI would have McCarthy score and Tong advance to second. Liv Robinson's RBI single would have Tong score and Blake would be thrown out at home. The Pride would be down 6-10 entering the final inning. Again in the seventh, the Panthers would fail to pick up anything but a walk in their batting chance, leaving the Pride needing four runs to tie the game. Unfortunately, the Pride would score none as the game would end with a 6-10 Widener loss.
