CHESTER, Pa. - The Pride start strong in their home opener as they rally from a 0-1 deficit to win the match 3-1.
The Pride improve to 1-0 on the season and are 0-0 in conference play. Their first conference game will be on Thursday, February 15 against King's.

Service errors were a real problem as the Pride tried to knock off the rust, they'd fall 23-25.

Tied at 22s late in the second, Christian Wannamaker's kill and two Wilkes errors sees Widener win 25-22.

The Pride would jump out to a 5-0 lead in the third set and wouldn't look back, cruising to a 25-12 win in the set.

The fourth set would have the Pride go on two 4-0 runs, and with a Matthew Christ kill and two errors, the Pride would emerge victorious with a 25-19 win in the final set.
