CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team celebrated senior day on Saturday with a regular-season ending doubleheader against Alvernia. Prior to the match, the Pride honored Matt Blaum, Ty Dorang, and Matt Lambert for their time in building the program.
 
MATCH ONE NOTES (10-25, 10-25, 14-25)

• Dylan Beer led the offense in the opening match with four kills.
• Carter Tran and Ethan Cox each posted three. Cox also had three blocks.
• Josh Matchett topped Widener with 13 assists and five digs.

 
MATCH TWO NOTES (7-25, 13-25, 14-25)

• Beer once again led the attack, this time with five kills and hit .714.
• Matchett had 11 assists.
• Lambert posted eight digs for the match.

 
UP NEXT
Widener will compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference tournament on Wednesday, April 7. The opponent will be determined based on the results of Saturday's matches around the league.
