WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Widener University women's track and field team competed in the Monarch Invitational at King's College on Saturday afternoon.
Anna Cooney came away with the top spot in two of her events. In the shot put, her 12.28 meter toss was good for first while her 46.84 hurl in the hammer throw gave her the lead. Jackie Guht also competed in the shot put, logging a distance of 9.27 meters.
The Blue and Gold returns to action in a MAC meet hosted at Widener on Friday, March 26 at 4 p.m.
