HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pride came out of the gate hot, knocking down its first three baskets and cracking open a 7-0 run to go up 16-9 and force a Lycoming timeout after five minutes of play. It continued its hot shooting behind 16 first half points from Boyd, taking a double digit lead 10 minutes in. However, a 16-6 scoring spree by the Warriors in the half's final minutes allowed them to slice the Pride's advantage to four as both teams entered halftime.
Lycoming continued the momentum into the second stanza, taking the lead off of two straight three-pointers at the 13:30 mark and extending it to as many as 16. The Warriors' 61.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc in the second half made the difference as they went on to cement the final score and deal Widener the setback.
