CHESTER, Pa. - The Widener University esports team continued a strong season in Rocket League as the Pride advanced to the quarterfinals of the NACE Rocket League Fall Cup with a pair of wins on Tuesday evening.Â
The Pride was represented by
Tom "tommyE44" Eisenhower,
Jack "therm" Merhar, and
Kyle "Scoob" Samber.
Playing a pair of best-of-five series, Widener dispatched Boise State 3-1 in its opening match. Later in the evening, the Blue and Gold took down Shenandoah, 3-1.Â
Widener returns to action in the NACE Fall Cup on Tuesday, November 10 when it battles the University of Missouri Gold squad at 8:00 p.m. The winner of that match will take on the winner between St. Clair and Northwood in the semifinals at 9:15 p.m.
