CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team put up one of its toughest battles of the season before falling 25-20, 25-19, 25-19 to the Misericordia Cougars in a Middle Atlantic Conference match on Wednesday night.
 
GAME NOTES

• Wil Cacciatore led the offense with nine kills in the match. Matt Blaum had five kills on 11 swings.
• Alex Arnow posted nine assists with Connor Johnson adding eight.
• Johnson and Matt Lambert were in double figures with 11 and 10 digs respectively.
• Johnson had two aces. Zach Piotti came up with a pair of blocks.

The Pride closes its season with a tri-match hosting MAC foes Alvernia and Wilkes on Saturday, April 6. Opening serve is scheduled for noon.
