CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team concluded its 2019 season, dropping a pair of Middle Atlantic Conference matches, falling 3-1 to both Alvernia and Wilkes. Prior to the tri-match, Widener honored its first ever senior,
Brian Scheno, for his efforts during the past two years.

NOTES VS. ALVERNIA (25-23, 10-25, 16-25. 11-25)
- Wil Cacciatore led the Pride with 11 kills. Alex Arnow had seven and Matt Blaum added five.
- Connor Johnson had 16 assists, his second highest total this season to that point.
- Matt Lambert led the defense with nine digs. Zach Piotti had two blocks.
- Widener posted a .259 hitting percentage in the opening set.

NOTES VS. WILKES (23-25, 15-25, 30-28, 11-25)
- Cacciatore had his third double-double of the season with 11 kills and 10 digs.
- Lambert added a career-best eight kills in the match.
- Johnson posted 21 assists and eight digs.
- Blaum had six kills, four digs, an ace, and two blocks.
