CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team turned in one of the best performances in program history in its second match of the day as the Pride split a tri-match on Saturday afternoon, beating York (N.Y.) 3-0 and falling to Stevenson 3-0.
 
NOTES VS. YORK (25-12, 25-15, 25-10)

• Widener set a program record for hitting percentage, connecting at a .338 clip in the match, besting the mark it set at York last year.
• Matt Blaum led the way with 10 kills. Kyle Minder had six and Matt Labert posted five.
• Both Alex Arnow and Connor Johnson had double digits in assists with 14 and 11 respectively.
• Wil Cacciatore led the defense with nine digs. He also had four aces, part of a Pride record 14 on the afternoon.

 
NOTES VS. STEVENSON (13-25, 16-25, 16-25)

• Cacciatore led the offense with five kills.
• Arnow had five digs. Cacciatore ad Blaum each had four.
• Johnson chipped in with eight assists. Lambert posted two service aces.

The Pride remains home on Wednesday when it hosts Misericordia in a Middle Atlantic Conference match. Opening serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
