CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's volleyball team battled to its closest match of the season before falling to the Wilkes Colonels 25-18, 25-19, 25-23 on Wednesday night.

BY THE NUMBERS
- Wil Cacciatore led the Pride with eight kills on the match.
- Alex Arnow had a strong overall day with 13 assists, two aces, three blocks and five digs.
- Matt Blaum and Connor Johnson led Widener defensively with eight and seven digs respectively.
- The Blue and Gold posted its best hitting percentage of the season and committed a season low 17 errors in the match.
- Seven service aces and five blocks also represented team highs for the year.
