CHESTER, Pa. –
Martin Bohdan and
Aaron Green each won three races and a relay victory as the Pride swept a pair of meets on Saturday afternoon, downing Hood 204-50 and Messiah 178-80.
Bohdan did all of his damage in freestyle events. He started his afternoon by claiming the 200 yard event in 1:46.54 before taking the 100 in 48.99. Shifting to distance, he won 500 free in 4:58.80 before leading the winning 400 free relay squad where he was joined by
Tim Dando,
Sam Smith, and Green in clocking in at 3:17.23.
Green took the top spot in the 100 backstroke, touching the wall in 53.76. He then sprinted his way to the 50 free victory in 21.47 before winning the 100 fly in 52.78, more than three seconds faster than his nearest competitor. Finishing his day, Green made up a gap of nearly 2.5 seconds in the anchor leg for Widener win in the 400 free relay.
Paolo Cortez contributed with a pair of wins, taking the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM in 1:01.89 and 2:08.18 respectively.
Chris Fleming won the 200 fly in 2:04.80.
John Porter Luksic took the top spot in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:17.13.
The Pride is back in action on Saturday, November 10 when it hosts Immaculata.
