CHESTER, Pa. – The Widener University men's swimming team swept all 14 events in a 223-18 victory against Immaculata on Saturday afternoon.
Aaron Green won the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.26, the top time in the conference this season. He also won the 100 free in 48.86.
Martin Bohdan took the top spot in the 200 free with his time of 1:50.50. Later he won the 50 free in 23.38. Bohdan also was first in the 100 fly at 57.83.
Nick Masciandaro touched first in the 100 back in 57.89 before taking the 200 back in 2:04.61.
Sam Smith won both the distance events for the Pride, claiming the 500 free and 1,000 free in 5:17.81 and 10:45.86 respectively.
Chris Fleming won the 200 fly in 2:05.34.
John Porter Luksic was first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:11.08.
In the relay events, the quartet of Bohdan, Luksic, Green and
Paolo Cortez took first in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:42.82. Green, Cortez,
Tim Dando, and Smith touched the wall in 1:32.20 in the 200 free relay.
Widener returns to action next weekend when it competes at the F&M Quad in Lancaster, Pa.
