Softball Postponed Tuesday vs. Haverford

Widener's home softball doubleheader Tuesday against Haverford has been postponed and re-scheduled for Thursday, April 10 at 4:00 pm in Chester.

The Pride (12-6, 4-4 CC) have won eight of their last 10 games and are tied for third place in the Commonwealth Conference. Freshman Angela Hood (Mullica Twp, NJ) paces the squad with a .404 batting average and is tied for the team lead with 19 hits. Freshman Alexis Schengrund (Hillsborough, NJ) has been solid in the circle, sporting an 8-3 record and a 1.01 ERA with opponents hitting just .165 off her.
