Widener for the second straight day split a pair of contests, losing 11-2 to Grove City in the opener before rolling to a 7-0 triumph over Finlandia in Clermont, FL.

Senior Jackie Korang (Delran, NJ) against Grove City (1-2) had a two-run double in the third inning and freshman Devin Coyne (Chesapeake, VA) added a double for the Pride (2-2).

Against Finlandia (3-4), Hillsborough, NJ freshman Alexis Schengrund (2-0) again pitched great in tossing her first collegiate shutout.  She struck out 10 over seven innings and got out of several jams with the Lions leaving 13 runners on base.
