Softball Announces Schedule Changes for Next Week

Widener's softball team has announced a pair of schedule changes for next week.

Its Commonwealth Conference doubleheader at Arcadia scheduled for Sunday has been moved to Tuesday, April 1 at 2:45 pm. The Pride also announced its re-scheduled doubleheader for next Thursday at Wesley has been canceled.

Widener (7-5, 1-3 CC) is coming off a doubleheader split Thursday at Albright. Freshman Angela Hood (Mullica Twp., NJ) leads the Pride with a .414 batting average and sophomore Heather Forward (Philadelphia, PA) is tops with five doubles and 13 RBI. Freshman Alexis Schengrund (Hillsborough, NJ) is 6-2 in the circle with 44 strikeouts over 38 2/3 innings.
