Widener in game one grabbed a 2-0 lead in the third when sophomore Heather Forward (Philadelphia, PA) lined an RBI double and later stole home.  The margin ballooned to 3-1 in the fourth when sophomore Taylor Church (Glen Mills, PA) ripped a run-scoring single to center.

The Pride really took command in the fifth with three runs for a 6-1 lead.  Freshman Bree Vanreenen (Elkton, MD) was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, senior Jackie Korang (Delran, NJ) had an RBI single and freshman Alexis Schengrund (Hillsborough, NJ) brought one home on a fielder's choice.

The lead went to 7-1 in the sixth as a fielder's choice from sophomore Alie Alkins (Aston, PA) plated freshman Ally Horvath (Chalfont, PA).  Forward continued her onslaught in the seventh with a two-run double to complete her first four-hit game.

Schengrund again pitched great, striking out six and yielding one run and four hits over five innings.  Korang, junior Carissa Harris (Douglassville, PA) and freshman Angela Hood (Mullica Hill, NJ) each had two hits for the Pride.

The Pride in game two plated three runs in the top of the third inning.  Hood lined an RBI triple, Harris had a run-scoring single and then scored on an error.

The Lady Lions scored four unearned runs in the fourth, keyed by Natalie Carlucci blasting a three-run homer for a 4-3 contest.  Carlucci then added an RBI double in the sixth for a two-run Albright lead.

Widener (7-5, 1-3 CC) in the seventh crept within 5-4 when Horvath had a run-scoring single, but Hood grounded out to Civitello in the circle for the final.

Hood closed with two of Widener's five hits.  Schengrund (6-2) was tagged for four unearned runs and five hits over 3 2/3 innings with four strikeouts.
