Women's Basketball Upends Elizabethtown, 74-64

Junior Jennifer Egee (Ridley Park, PA) scored a career-high 24 points as Widener remained unbeaten with a 74-64 Commonwealth Conference win over Elizabethtown at Schwartz Center.

Egee shot 10-of-20 from the floor and canned four 3-pointers for the Pride (4-0, 1-0 CC), who shot 46 percent (30-of-66) from the floor. Kate Dellinger (Wrightsville, PA) had 12 points and 11 rebounds with fellow senior Lil Carney (Narberth, PA) and sophomore Kristina Reiter (Sewell, NJ) netting 11 points apiece.

Taylor Kreider was on a tear with 26 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Jays, who were held to just 33 percent shooting (20-of-60).

Widener on Saturday visits seventh-ranked Lebanon Valley, beginning at 1:00 pm.
