Widener posted a 9-1 victory over Ferrum that followed a 5-3 loss to York (PA) in Kissimmee, FL.

Against Ferrum, freshman Casey Hargadon (Wallingford, PA) had two hits and four RBI for the Pride (3-3).  #Steph Connolly# (Aston, PA) posted two hits with fellow senior Lauren Brubaker (Newtown Square, PA) adding a hit and three RBI.

Parker Ford, PA junior Kelsey Shultz (2-1) got the victory, yielding one run and seven hits over five innings with three strikeouts.

Versus York (PA), freshman Shelby Mackintosh (Lumberton, NJ) had two hits, Shultz rapped a hit with an RBI and junior Meg Phillips (Aston, PA) recorded a hit.

The Spartans improved to 6-0.

Widener on Friday plays Ursuline at 9:00 am and Saint Benedict at 11:00 am.
