Steph Connolly (Aston, PA) hit a three-run homer in her hometown and senior
Mallory Meyer (Lansdowne, PA) pitched great as Widener completed a doubleheader sweep of Neumann, 6-3 and 9-0 in Aston, PA.
Widener (28-10) in game one got two hits and two RBI from junior

Caitlin Callahan (Franklin Square, NY) also had two hits.

Kelsey Shultz (7-2) posted her fourth straight win, striking out two over four innings.
Connolly's long ball was her fifth of the year, aiding the Pride during a seven-run sixth inning to close the scoring for the team's ninth mercy-rule win this season. Meyer and junior
Rachel O'Leary (Coatesville, PA) each had two-run singles in the frame.
Meyer (11-6) moved one victory shy of her single-season best with a season-high eight strikeouts over five innings.
Widener on Saturday hosts Messiah in a Commonwealth Conference doubleheader, beginning at 1:00 pm. The Pride (7-1) are tied with Lebanon Valley for first place in the league and either will be the number one or two seed in next week's conference tournament.
