11/28/07 -- Beth Dessart Mager (Newtown Square, PA) scored 16 points and fellow junior Barbara Fleming (Philadelphia, PA) added 14 for Widener in a 69-48 victory over Wilkes at Schwartz Center.

Widener (2-2) gained control with a 35-16 halftime lead, holding Wilkes to only 30 percent shooting (7-of-23) from the floor and 0-of-4 from 3-point range. Dessart Mager and Fleming scored nine points apiece.

The Pride, who led by as many as 31, limited the Lady Colonels to only 34 percent shooting (16-of-47) from the floor and 2-of-9 from 3-point range. Sophomore Becky Tyler (Wynnewood, PA) grabbed nine rebounds for Widener, which ended with a 43-37 advantage.

Sam Lynam scored 18 points, Mackensey O'Hara contributed 15 and eight rebounds with Chelsey Gosse adding 10 and eight for the Lady Colonels (0-5).
