Dennis Nguyen is in his second year as an assistant coach for the Widener track and field squads, as he will work with the strength and conditioning of the teams.
He is the current indoor pole vault school record holder, as well as the heptathlon record holder. Nguyen earned 3,881 points in the at the Widener Field Meet on February 1st, 2013, and won the 2014 Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Pole Vault Championship. He was also recipient of the 2014 Danny Curran Award.
Nguyen graduated from Widener in 2014 with a bachelors degree in business administration. During his time at Widener, he was a member of the Accounting Society, where he would attend meetings learning more abou the profession.
