Jack Donnelly enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach for the Widener men's and women's swimming teams in 2022-23. Donnelly will primarily oversee the sprint group.
Prior to joining Widener, Donnelly was a standout athlete at Scranton from 2018-21. He helped bring the Royals to a top-three finish in the 2018-19 season. While at Scranton, Donnelly recorded six school records, a pair of Landmark Conference individual championship event wins in the 100 breaststroke, a pair of runner-up finishes in the 200 breaststroke, and a 2020 NCAA B cut in the 200 breaststroke. Outside of the pool, Donnelly was named a 2020 CSCAA Scholar All-American.
Donnelly also brings experience to the Pride with his marketing background where he served as an intern for Swimming World Magazine in 2021. While at Swimming World Magazine, Donnelly helped monitor trends from their social media accounts and created content such as videos, pictures, and posts surrounding the 2021 Olympic Games.
The Washington Crossing native earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Scranton in 2021 and will complete his SAS Certificate: Business Intelligence and Analytics in 2023.
