Sharay Barnes is in her first season as a graduate assistant with the women's volleyball program. 

Barnes most recently played as a graduate student at Seton Hall where she averaged 2.28 kills per set with a .273 hitting percentage. She earned her undergrad degree from the University of Kentucky. After redshirting her freshman year, she averaged 1.26 kills per set with a .281 hitting percentage in 32 matches. 

A native of Swarthmore, Pa., Barnes is a graduate of Strath Haven High School.
