Juan Cotes-Perez enters his first season with the pride as an assistant mens volleyball coach. Cotes-Perez has great level of training and knowledge in technical matters of the game. He has been involved in volleyball at a professional level since 1986, he joined the Puerto Rico College of Engineers and Surveyors team as an assistant coach in the Puerto Rican volleyball federation tournament.Â

Cotes-Perez was also able to participate as a coach of the Lider Mets team in the city of Guaynabo and Manati in Puerto Rico. During this period Cotes-Perez coached men’s and women’s volleyball for the Caribbean University. Cotes-Perez won several tournaments in Puerto Rico such as: Angel Matos Challenger Cup, Power league PR, Jr. National PR, Puerto Rican Volleyball League and Copuvo PR.Â

Cotes-Perez is currently a director and trainer in the SSVA club and the technical staff of Cowell-Egain Catholic High School

Cotes-Perez has an Associates Degree in Business Administration from the Metropolitan University of Puerto Rico with a concentration in Cost Analysis and StatisticsÂ
