Widener University Athletics

Nikita Halteman is entering her first season as an assistant coach for Widener's Track & Field teams.  She joins the squad after a very impressive career with the Pride.  Halteman finished her indoor career with two MAC shot put titles and a conference title in the weight throw.  She also won the MAC outdoor hammer throw and discus titles, in addition to two outdoor shot put titles.  As a senior in 2010, Halteman was named MAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year, after winning three events, including recording a MAC and school record toss of 148' 10" in the shot put.
