Frank C. Squibb II is in his 12th season as Head Throws Coach at Widener University. He began his career in 1989 when he became an assistant coach at Mercer County Community College in New Jersey. Frank was named Mercer's head coach in 1991. During his eight year tenure there, he coached 12 NJCAA All Americans. Frank earned USATF Level II certification in 1995. He has coached 5 NCAA All-Americans as part of Widener's program. He also coached Lauren Lucci, the 2008 NCAA Div. III National Champion in the Shot Put. Since coming to Widener, Frank's throwers have set 11 school records. A contributor to the Long and Strong Throwers Journal, he is also a member of the National Throws Coaches Association, and has been either a host or a clinician at 14 Track and Field Clinics. A resident of Croydon, (Bristol Township) PA, he and his wife, Patricia have two children Elizabeth and Daniel.
