Widener University Athletics

Anthony Giles is an assistant coach for Widener's track & field program.

He was a multi-decorated athlete for Widener, capturing Middle Atlantic Conference titles in the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes as well as the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400-meter relays.  Giles also won gold in the 4x400-meter relay at the Penn Relays.

Giles enjoyed his best year in 2002, when he was named the outstanding track athlete at the MAC Championships and was picked the team's Outdoor MVP.  He also was a national qualifier in the 4x100-meter relay.

Giles also is a member of Widener's Computer Science Alumni Board.  He has worked in IT since graduation as a computer programmer, in IT healthcare and IT banking.
