Jacki Ketner is in her third season as the head coach of the cheerleading program and ninth season overall for the Pride. Ketner has guided the Pride to new heights on both the regional and national levels when it comes to competitive cheerleading.

Despite a limited season in 2020-21 due to COVID-19, Ketner helped the Blue and Gold placed second at the UCA College Nationals in the Gameday Division.

In 2019-20, the Pride won their second consecutive MAC Championship in the Traditional division and captured their first conference title in the Partner Stunt division. In addition, the Pride went on to earn a silver medal at the UCA College Nationals for the second consecutive season, finishing as the runner-up in the Open All-Girl Division.

As an assistant with the Pride, Ketner helped Widener enhance its profile significantly on the national stage. In 2018-19, WU recorded its best placement at the UCA College Nationals, finishing second overall out of 16 in the Open All-Girl Division. The Pride also won the MAC Championship in the Traditional division.

In 2017-18, Widener competed in the finals for the first time at the UCA College Nationals, finishing fifth, following its first appearance at the event in 2015-16. From 2013-15, the Pride posted strong performances at the NCA College Nationals.
