Competed in four meets as a freshman ... Made collegiate debut at the Main Line Invitational (9/16), placing 45th overall and fifth on the team in a 4-mile time of 23:33.2 ... Finished sixth on the squad by circling an 8,000-meter course in a collegiate-best time of 28:40 in the Men's Brown Division at the Paul Short Run (10/1) ... Led the Pride in the open race at the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle (10/15) by navigating a 7.8k circuit in 27:44.4 ... Placed 84th overall and ninth on the team with an 8,000-meter time of 30:12 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships (10/29).
High School
Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field at Winston Churchill … Team captain who had personal-best times of 4:39 in the mile, 2:03 in the 800-meter run, 16:51 in the 5,000 and 4:15 in the 1,500 … Made the all-district first team and was a three-time regional championship qualifier in cross country … Also earned a place on the academic all-area first team and the academic all-state second team … Was a district championship medalist in both sports … Helped the program place second in the district in 2012 as well as third in 2013 … Member of the National Honor Society.
