Named All-Conference on both the offensive and defensive line as a senior…served as team captain…active in North County Envirothon…served as Powderpuff Coach…member of the National Honor Society…made the Honor Roll…competed in wrestling, where he was an individual district champion and a team state runner-up.

Personal
Son of Jennifer and Edward Werkheiser…favorite athlete is Shaquille O’Neal…enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends…aspires to become a chemical engineer.

Why Did You Choose Widener?
“I choose Widener because I think out of all of the colleges that I looked at, I fit into Widener the most. Widener had my intended major which is chemical engineering and they had a football team, which I’m playing on this upcoming season. That is why I choose Widener to be my home for the next four years.”
