Appeared in 10 games for the Pride in his collegiate-debut season... Made 25 tackles... Had a tackle for loss for two yards, along with a team-high two interceptions... First interception of the year came vs. Albright (10/22)

High School
Selected to All-State Third Team as a defensive back...named All-District Second Team as both a defensive back and wide receiver...recorded 1,200 all-purpose yards, 14 touchdowns, 20.3 yards per catch, five pass break ups, and 27 tackles...helped team win regional championship and finish as state runner-up in 2021...competed in track and field, where he helped the team win district and regional championships...served as a two-year captain for both teams...made the Honor Roll all four years.

Son of Marcus and Laqueta Taylor...favorite athlete is Usain Bolt...enjoys reading, running, and hanging with family and friends...aspires to become a neurosurgeon.

Why Widener?
"I chose Widener because academically for my major it's one of the best on the East Coast. I also chose Widener because It felt like my home away from home. Coming from Texas is a big leap, but I know my coaches, and professors will be there along the way."
