NEWTOWN, Pa. - Widener Field Hockey forward Karly Bervinchak was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week for her performance spanning from Sept. 7, 2026 to Sept. 13, 2026. 

The junior tallied seven goals and added an assist in two wins over Lancaster Bible and Drew. After notching a hat-trick against Lancaster Bible on Wednesday, Sept. 9, Bervinchak followed that performance up by tying her career-high in goals with four against Drew on Saturday, Sept. 12. Bervinchak also set her new career-high in points with nine and matched the second highest single-game points accumulated by a Widener player in program history.

This week's honor marks the second time the forward has taken the award home during her collegiate career, the other time coming in 2024. 

This Saturday, the Pride will take on Swarthmore at Edith R. Dixon Field. The game is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
