HOW IT HAPPENED

Arcadia wasted little time, getting on the board at the 15:12 mark. The Pride tried to answer back as Michael Panno put a shot on goal but was rebuffed by Arcadia's Randy Heidorn at the 28:44. Widener had two corner kicks in the next two minutes but couldn't come up with an equalizer and the game would remain 1-0 headed into halftime

Widener was given a gift early in the second half when Heidorn was shown a red card in the 49th minute, forcing Arcadia to play a man down the rest of the match. Despite outshooting the Knights 10-3 in the second half, Widener couldn't capitalize and the game would ultimately end 1-0 in favor of Arcadia.
