Small Group Take on Ursinus Frank Colden Invitational

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Widener Men's Track and Field send a handful to Ursinus Frank Colden Invitational.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED ON THE TRACK
 
Patrick Lamb would lead the Pride in the 60-meter dash with a 7.29. First year Glenn Yirenkyi would clock a 7.46 which followed.
 
In the 400-meters David Johnson would take third in a 52.51.
 
The 800-meter run showed Ashton Ray taking fifth with a 2:06.87.
 
Troy Wallace clocked a 9.56 in the 60-meter hurdles.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED IN THE FIELD
 
The long jump featured Alexander Szymanik who marked a 5.89-meter distance. 
 
In the circle, Ashton Brown threw an 11.47-meter distance in the shot put while Kevin Williams marked a 10.70-meter toss.
 
John Kodack led the Pride in the weight throw with a 14.67-meter mark. Williams continued his afternoon with a 13.41-meter distance.
 
UP NEXT
Widener is set to host their second meet at UPenn's The Ott Center on Friday, February 20. The two day meet will conclude on Saturday, February 21 with the track portion.
