The Pride worked to chip away at the deficit behind kills from Dahl, Njokanma, and Randall, with Sandberg orchestrating the offense to keep the score within reach. After the Blue Jays stretched the margin to 16–9 midway through the frame, Widener responded with a late surge, using a Josh Akinwale service ace and a Marquis ace to close the gap to 24–20. However, Elizabethtown capitalized on a final attack opportunity to claim the set, 25–20.

Widener settled in early during the second set, turning a 2–0 deficit into a 3–2 advantage behind a Wannamaker service ace and a strong run at the net. The Pride continued to trade points through the middle portion of the frame, with kills from Akinwale, Dahl, and Wannamaker helping knot the score at 10–10. Elizabethtown responded with a momentum-shifting stretch, using service pressure and blocks to build a 15–11 lead and later extend the margin to 19–13. Widener attempted to chip away behind additional swings from Akinwale and Dahl, but the Blue Jays closed the set on a late run to secure the 25–17 decision.

The third set opened with both teams trading points early, as kills from Marquis and Dahl helped Widener keep pace through a 6–6 tie. After the Blue Jays edged ahead 10–8, the Pride stayed within striking distance behind swings from Marquis and a Marquis kill, trimming the deficit to 13–11. Elizabethtown then used a key service run to extend the margin to 17–11, but Widener answered with a push of its own, highlighted by a Sandberg service ace to close the gap to 19–15. The Pride continued to battle late with kills from Marquis, Akinwale, and Wannamaker, pulling within four on multiple occasions, but Elizabethtown held steady down the stretch to secure the 25–20 set and complete the three-set sweep.
