Neumann grabbed the early edge in the second set, capitalizing on a pair of Widener errors to take a quick lead before the Pride settled in behind kills from Njokanma and Akinwale. After the teams traded points through the middle of the frame, Widener began to create separation as Dahl delivered a service ace and Stubbs found success on the outside. Sandberg continued to run an efficient offense, mixing in timely kills of his own while connecting with Marquis, Stubbs, and Njokanma to keep the pressure on.
