Widener came out firing in the opening set, jumping ahead 3–0 behind a kill from Randall, a service ace from Dunn, and a Heist finish at the net. After Valley Forge trimmed the margin to 3–3, the Pride responded with a steady run, using kills from Dahl, Randall, and Yavan Patel to extend the lead to 8–3. Widener continued to build separation, moving in front 11–6 before Randall took over from the service line. The first year sparked a dominant stretch with a string of aces and aggressive serving that pushed the advantage to 20–6. Valley Forge managed a few late points, but the Pride closed the frame in commanding fashion, securing the 25–9 set victory.

After the Patriots briefly cut into the margin, the Pride rebuilt control, using a kill from Randall and a service ace from Patel to move ahead 8–4. Widener continued to apply pressure midway through the frame, stretching the lead to 12–9 and then breaking it open with a decisive run. With Dunn directing the offense, Randall and Marquis delivered multiple kills during a dominant surge that pushed the advantage to 20–10. The Pride never looked back, closing out the set in convincing fashion, 25–13, to take a two-set lead in the match.

The Pride steadily built separation as Randall added another ace at the service line and helped force Valley Forge errors to extend the margin to 10–3. Midway through the set, Josh Akinwale fueled a decisive run with two aces and a kill, pushing the advantage to 17–6 and putting the frame out of reach. Widener maintained its momentum down the stretch, capitalizing on Patriot miscues before sealing the 25–14 win to complete the straight-sets sweep on the road.
