Gabby Nye downed her own 3k record at Moravian Hounds Classic.
HOW IT HAPPENED AT MORAVIAN HOUNDS CLASSIC
Gabby Nye led the four Pride runners in the 3k with a new Widener record. Nye would clock a 9:50.24.
Kathryn Long took third with a 10:25.45.
Loralei Golembiewski would come close in after with a final time of 10:51.00. First year
Amber Wilsey would round the quad out with a 12:28.27.
HOW IT HAPPENED AT HAVERFORD SEAMUS MCELLIGOTT INVITATIONAL
In the 60-meter dash,
Jayla Gore led with a 8.24.
Ziraya Snowden took third with a 8.32 while
Tirzah Simmons came in fifth with a 8.34. Junior
Alyssa Kolimaga would finish with a 8.44.
Zahara Simmons took second in the 200-meter dash with a 27.66. Snowden finished third with a time of 27.94.
Z. Simmons continued her day with a first in the 60-meter hurdles to clock a 9.97.
The quad of
Veronica Ashcraft,
Katelyn Fox,
Allyson Hakes, and Kolimaga took second in the 4x400-meter relay. The four timed a 4:21.28.
In the field,
Amanda Simpson vaulted to a 2.30-meter height.
T. Simmons took second in the long jump for a distance of 5.00-meters.
Aisosa Washington took second in the shot put with a 10.63-meter throw on her second attempt.
Sani Hamlin would throw a 9.78-meter distance while
Heron Gaudet threw a 9.54-meter mark.
The weight throw showed
Isabel Rodriguez throwing a 13.54-meter throw on her third attempt.
Jillian Walker threw an 11.95-meter throw to take sixth.
Anna Baukal and Gaudet both threw MAC qualifications with their 11.48-meter and 10.68-meter distances.
