McGraw Sets Top Mark in Division III at Alvernia Winter Invitational

READING, Pa. – Junior Matayo McGraw highlight's the men's triple jump at Alvernia Winter Invitational with a new number one mark in the nation. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED ON THE TRACK
 
Tristen Silverstein opened the meet on the track in the 60-meter hurdles. Silverstein clocked a 16.52.
 
Erastus Ndirangu ran a 7.13 in the 60-meter prelims alongside Jack Csensits who clocked a 7.15.
 
Gavin Kelly would run to a 4:32.77 while Zach Rementer ran a 4:34.96 in the mile. David Abbey and Ethan Ng ran in a 4:42.52 and 4:45.54 respectively.
 
The 400-meter showed Derek Rudd running a 52.84. Xavier Nesbeth would clock a 53.14.
 
In the 800-meter run, Ashton Ray showcased a 2:06.59.
 
Tyler Ressler ran in a 23.41 in the 200-meter dash while Ndirangu showed a 23.47 and Silverstein a 23.63.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED IN THE FIELD
 
Aidan Wilson would vault to a 4.15-meter height in the pole vault to mark a personal best. Brennan Pringle showed a season best with a 3.70-meter height.
 
Matayo McGraw would highlight the triple jump with a new top mark in Division III with a 15.32-meter distance. Jacob Grossman marked a 13.69-meter distance.
 
John Kodack wrapped up the field in the weight throw where he threw a 14.06-meter mark.
