IMMACULATA, Pa. – Widener Women's Soccer scored three goals in the first half to take down the Immaculata University Mighty MAC.
The Pride are now 4-2-0 on the season and 0-0 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After scoring three goals in their last game, the Pride momentum carried over into this game. Cecilia Deroian gave the Pride a 1-0 lead only one minute into the game. At the 23:32 mark, Abby Picollo extended the Pride lead with an assist from Charlotte Burke. The Pride offense could not be stopped as they once again added on to their lead at the 28:00-minute mark thanks to a goal from Giovanna Chaves. The Pride went into the locker room at halftime with a commanding 3-0 lead.
- After an offensive outburst in the first half, the Pride were still unsatisfied, taking five shots within the first five minutes of the half but were unable to find the back of the net. The game then quieted down with both defenses playing well throughout the remainder of the second half. The Pride returned to Chester after securing a 3-0 win over the Immaculata Mighty Macs.
