The Pride would take a quick timeout at 12:49 to try and slow the Bombers offense. Billie would register a few saves to wrap up the half with the score 8-2.
  • A halftime break would help the defense recover and force a Bombers clock violation. Two Pride penalties would hurt the defense allowing two Bombers goals. A Bomber turnover would give Shimko a ground ball and a quick shot to find the back of the cage at 5:23. The quarter would end with a Shimko goal and three Bombers goals to head into the final 15 minutes of play.
