GRANTHAM, Pa. – Following a dominating 76-64 win over York in the semifinal game, Widener Women's Basketball is set to compete for the second title in a row against Messiah.
The Pride extended their overall record on Wednesday evening to move to 18-8 record.
The matchup will be a rematch of last year's MAC Commonwealth Championship as the Pride would upset the Falcons 68-62 to advance to the NCAA Tournament.
Mia Robbins had a career year for the Pride averaging 18.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. In the second game of the season, Robbins would score a career high 29 points while also grabbing 12 rebounds in a win against Marymount. Robbins would aid the Pride on Wednesday with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Lindsay Kutz has been a dependable all-around player for Widener, averaging 10.2 points and 8.4 rebounds a game. Kutz also leads the team in steals with 1.6 a game and in assists averaging 2.8. Kutz would also see a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Riley Stackhouse has been a key player in her first year with the team, averaging 7.3 points, 1.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.
The winner of the MAC Commonwealth Championship game will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Selection Monday is scheduled Mar. 3 at 2:30 p.m.

Ticket prices are as follows: $8 (adults), $6 (senior citizens 65+), and 6$ (Youth 7-17). MAC students with ID and children six and under with an adult get in for free. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
